Along with the regular Doctor and Nurse appointment we also offer other services including:

Baby Vaccination Clinic

Practice Nurse led clinic.

Social Prescriber support

A social prescriber is a link worker who connects patients to community groups and services that can support their health and wellbeing. They assess the social, emotional and practical needs of patients and empower them to take control of their own health and wellbeing. Please contact the practice for referral

Pharmacist

The pharmacist will complete a medication review after your annual checks, if you are on repeat prescriptions. They may also contact you about switching medication if there are issues finding stock, a hospital doctor has recommended it, the medication is not being produced any longer etc..

Carers

If you are a Carer for anyone we would like to support you. Please ask at reception for Carer information or see the display in the waiting room.

Serious Mental Illness service

The doctor must refer you for this service which offers a community and medical offer to support patients with serious mental illness.

Flu Jabs

These are available between October and March each year.

Health Promotion / Chronic Disease Clinic

These are nurse led clinics for Asthma, Diabetes, COPD, CHD and Hypertension.

Health Visitor Clinic

This is every Thursday afternoon at the Healthy Living Centre, Upperthorpe, Sheffield, from 1pm to 3pm. You can bring your baby along without an appointment to be weighed and to talk to the Health Visitor. For more information contact 0114 226 1821.

Maternity Services

Midwife led clinic.

Minor Ailments

Minor ailments such as coughs and colds, mild eczema, and athlete's foot etc., can be treated by visiting your pharmacy. All pharmacists can recognise many common health complaints and can give advice or, where appropriate, medicines that will help.

Patients over 16 years and under 75

Anyone between these ages who has not been seen for 3 years are welcome to make an appointment at any time to have a health assessment check.

Patients over 75 years

If you are over 75 years old, we will call you in on an annual basis to give you a health assessment check.

Physiotherapy

If you have issues with muscular pain or restricted movement you may be given an appointment with a First Contact Physio at the practice. You do not need to see the GP to access the Physiotherapist.

Travel Advice and Vaccinations

Our Nurse is able to offer medical advice regarding travel vaccinations. Please make the necessary appointment. Try to plan ahead and not leave your vaccination until the last minute so that vaccines can be ordered and administered in good time.

We will ask you to complete a travel vaccination form, this will be handed to you by the receptionist.
