Your prescription will be ready for collection 48 hours later, excluding weekends and bank holidays. For example, a request left on a Friday, will be ready for collection the following Tuesday.
You may order your prescription in the following ways:
- By handing in repeat prescription requests at any time during opening hours.
- By letter
- Online using the SystmOnline service.
We will only accept telephone requests if you are housebound. This is because the names of medications are complex, and more errors occur with spoken requests.
We can also assist with repeat dispensing. This means that your pharmacist keeps up to six months of prescriptions at a time, avoiding you to reorder them at the surgery.
Please ask at reception about telephone prescription requests.
