Our dedicated practice team consists of two doctors, a practice nurses, attached healthcare professionals, as well as the Practice Manager, administrative staff and receptionists. Together, we provide a full range of medical services.
We aim to provide high quality, accessible services to patients in a welcoming environment where patients and staff feel respected and valued. We will try to deliver these services efficiently and effectively. We will not discriminate against anyone for any reason and we will regularly review and improve our services to make sure that they are relevant to patients' needs.
We also feel that it is important to know who you are speaking to, so our practice staff wear a named badge and identify themselves on the telephone.

Our Practice Nurse work on an appointments system. She provides a comprehensive nursing service for all categories of patients eg those with coronary heart disease, diabetes, hypertension, asthma, INR monitoring, advice, new patient health reviews, cervical smears, well man/well woman screening, suture removal/dressings, ear syringing, childhood vaccinations, travel vaccinations/travel advice and general advice.

The district nurses provide quality nursing care and support to housebound patients, and their carers, who have acute, chronic and palliative care needs. They work with other health professionals to provide individualised care.

The midwife works with the doctors to provide care for mothers before and after delivery and care for the baby for the first fortnight of life.

A Counsellors / Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) is trained to help you to manage symptoms of depression, stress, worry or anxiety. They use a guided self-help approach based on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Techniques to help you understand your problems and provide coping strategies to help you manage more effectively.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is an active talking therapy for people who have problems with their mood or anxiety. CBTare trained to use evidence based therapy treatments for moderate-severe anxiety and depression problems. Anxiety and depression disorders include Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Social Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and mixed anxiety and depression. CBT has been proven to be effective at helping people to overcome their difficulties.

Admin/ Reception staff
Our Receptionists are here to help you, and also, to help the Practice run smoothly. Sometimes, they may need to ask you personal questions. If you wish to speak to a Receptionist privately, away from the Reception area, please ask to do so. All information is treated in the strictest confidence. Please remember the Receptionists are only acting on the Doctor's instructions. Personal information will not be given out to anyone other than the patient concerned unless the patient provides us with written consent.
